How it connects
Use these observations only for an Evolution X1 Indoor running the operator-confirmed iDX 3.3 release. Table 9 of T0000611 Rev A distinguishes RX demodulator lock from NCR lock: yellow is no downstream lock, flashing yellow is demodulator lock without NCR, green is both locked. NET flashing green every two seconds is NCR lock, every second is network acquisition, and steady green is in-network. TX yellow means enabled but muted, so do not force transmission to make it green. Record all lamps together, installed release and time for the operator. Preserve options, IP settings and antenna configuration. Do not upload an image/options file, reset, move powered coax or run cross-polarization tests. Network membership is not proof that a service plan or internet route works. For X1 Indoor, read RX, TX and NET together: all three flashing green at one-second intervals means DRAM test failure, whereas NET alone flashing green each second is network acquisition. All lamps flashing red indicates a software exception or bad options file; record it for the operator instead of loading a replacement. X1 Outdoor has only a physical POWER lamp; its other indicators are simulated in Web iSite. Do not look for an X5 STATUS lamp on X1.
