Preserve the installed outdoor connection. For a power restart use the wall outlet, leaving the locking modem power connector in place.

Lights and messages

  • Save the System State Code from the local System Control Center. Opening that local page alone does not confirm internet access.
  • A red Power light indicates overheating. Stop normal troubleshooting, keep the modem upright and ventilated, and contact Hughesnet if it persists.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • The Hughesnet Mesh Wi-Fi Node supports HT3000W. Consider it only for confirmed indoor coverage gaps; it will not restore a failed satellite link.
