Hughes 9450-C11

Vehicle BGAN terminal with a Class11 tracking antenna; exact base-model interfaces and original documentation.

Confirm your model

Match 9450-C11 on the terminal and its antenna. This page describes the base 9450-C11 datasheet H44354 (January2023), not 9450L/LW/TW/E or C10.

How it connects

  1. C11 antenna Installed RF cable
  2. 9450-C11 IDU Ethernet
  3. Ethernet client
Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

The base C11 datasheet lists four PoE Ethernet ports, WLAN, two RJ11 ports (voice/fax) and ISDN. Installation is for authorised personnel; do not change powered RF wiring to diagnose a client.

Lights and messages

  • Read the matching H64159RevD LED and Web UI descriptions; record exact terminal state, GPS/registration and connection errors rather than applying another Hughes model’s codes.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Match Class11 antenna and approved mounting/cable parts with the installer. A C10 mount or variant-specific peripheral is not automatically interchangeable.

These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.

Model-specific parts: start with the official source
