GigaBlue UHD Trio4K Pro, the model named on the cover and introduction of the manufacturer-hosted German manual. The filename contains 2024, but no printed publication date or revision number has been identified. This is not the Trio4K without Pro, Quad4K Pro or UHD IP4K. Match the actual rear panel, installed tuner options and software menus; generic GigaBlue examples elsewhere in the book do not prove every feature is fitted.
How it connects
The rear-panel drawing identifies DVB-S2X for the dish feed and a distinct DVB-C/T/T2 input whose use depends on the installed tuner. HDMI goes to the television, optical audio to a suitable amplifier, and the network connection to a router. They are separate signal paths. A reachable local web interface does not by itself prove satellite reception or pay-TV authorization. Have an installer verify the actual LNB/DiSEqC/multiswitch arrangement rather than copying a different input’s settings.
Lights and messages
- The programme-information diagram separately labels signal level, tuner, resolution and pay-TV/card-related symbols. Record the affected service and actual values rather than reading every icon as a reception fault. In the network-test example, green means successful and red unsuccessful, but the book explicitly shows DHCP and absent network shares red when those features are not in use. Retain the test-item names and installed configuration; not every red item is a failed router.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The original package list names the receiver, external supply/cable, remote, user manual and HDMI cable. Optical-amplifier and router connections are separate uses; do not infer that their cables or a particular USB/WLAN accessory are supplied. Match the actual rear panel before applying generic storage or optional-tuner examples. Disk initialization is a separate destructive operation and is not a cure for no signal.
