Confirm the complete model number on the receiver: the shared 02-08-2022 manual covers 54, 104, 154Combo, 204, 254Combo, 255Combo and 255Combo S, but their ports are not identical. The front-panel table gives 54 no CA or CI slot, 104/154Combo a CA slot, and 204/254/255 variants CA plus CI. A missing slot is not a fault and does not justify buying an adapter. Read the existing installation and satellite signal values without scanning or changing fixed/motor/DiSEqC settings. Combo LOOP OUT is only RF pass-through, not an analogue output of decoded DVB-T or USB video. If one media file fails while live TV and other files work, preserve the file and record its codec/profile/resolution: a recognised filename extension does not establish playback support. Do not erase channel lists, format storage, flash another model’s software or change powered coax.
