How it connects

Match the Ariva 9000 4K CI+ receiver against the rear-panel drawing in Ferguson’s English v01 manual. Antenna In and LNB In are different sockets: satellite reception uses LNB In, while a working Ethernet/Wi-Fi app does not prove satellite reception. Read Signal Information for the selected broadcast before scanning; preserve the satellite, DiSEqC and shared-installation settings. Record whether all broadcasts, only encrypted services or only apps fail. A CI/CAM fault or missing rights is not automatically low RF signal. The three-minute Timer of No Signal and Auto Power Down are different standby conditions; record the actual notification instead of assuming power-supply failure. Back up recordings before any USB investigation: Format Disk erases all data. Accessibility options include high contrast, spoken subtitles and magnification where the software/broadcast supports them; missing audio description on one programme is not proof of tuner failure. No factory installation, format, firmware, PIN guessing or live LNB work as a diagnostic test.
