How it connects
This family uses Ferguson’s original Ariva 4K / Ariva 4K Combo English manual, filename v5; it is not Ariva ATV or Ariva 9000. Match the rear panel: LNB IN is satellite, while ANT IN exists only on the appropriate Combo hardware. Separate DTV live reception from Android apps and internet connectivity. Record the chosen satellite, LNB type, DiSEqC/motor setting and programme information without changing the installation or running a new scan. Compare live picture with timeshift and existing recordings. For USB recording, this edition specifies one basic NTFS/FAT32 partition, write speed at least 9.0 MB/s and a separately powered external hard drive; it also says only one of its three USB ports may be used at a time. A storage-only stutter is not proof that the dish needs adjustment. Preserve files before investigating storage and never unplug it during recording/playback. No format, firmware, reset, app replacement or powered coax work is needed to collect these observations.
