A short POWER press opens standby choices, while holding over two seconds enters OFF, so record the actual mode before calling it dead. System > Information preserves the software version. Factory setting deletes programmed values and Delete all channels removes the channel list; neither is a first diagnostic step. Match the model, product code and manual edition on this page. Photograph existing connections without changing them. First separate TV input and standby problems from missing satellite reception.
