How it connects

The original EXPLORER300 has LAN, Bluetooth and Phone interfaces; do not substitute the USB or WLAN layout of another EXPLORER. Use an already authorized local connection. Reading its local console does not prove satellite registration or require a new chargeable data session. This 2007 manual does not establish current airtime eligibility or modern computer support.

Lights and messages

  • Read the full alarm ID, including its hyphen and final check digit, plus the text and timestamp. Acknowledging an alarm does not remove its cause; the red message indicator can keep flashing. Codes 01700–01709 concern voice registration; 01800–01809 concern data registration. They are separate service states, not proof of an antenna failure. Ask the airtime provider about persistent registration faults; do not reset, upload firmware or start paid traffic just to collect this evidence.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
