Match SatDOCK-G 9555, model 9555SDG, and the printed Rev07 manual of May 2016; do not use original 9555SD controls. Distinguish ignition-controlled sleep from handset network registration. The documented default can reboot an unregistered handset about every 20 minutes; record that timing before calling it a power failure. Ring/Mute solid red means outgoing audio is muted; flashing red means frame sync is not ready, and flashing orange can mean the privacy/DPL/earpiece audio path. Slow flashing blue Bluetooth can identify an in-call paired device. Record the full LED pattern, handset registration and audio route. GPS fix and Iridium registration are separate. Preserve settings; do not change wiring, save a PIN, reset, update firmware or test alerts to diagnose a fault.
