Satellite TV / Detailed guide

Vu+ SOLO² · Exact manual and safe first checks

Vu+ SOLO² · Original English user manual; publication date not established

Applies to: Vu+ SOLO² · Original English user manual; publication date not established

Work through these checks

  1. 01 · Vu+ SOLO²

Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.

  2. 02 · LNB 1 In / LNB 2 In / Tuner Configuration / Service Information

Match SOLO², not SOLO or SOLO SE, and the original English manual. Identify the existing LNB 1 In and LNB 2 In connections without moving them. In Tuner Configuration, record the installed A/B settings rather than guessing that two sockets mean two independent feeds. Read Service Information for the affected channel before rescanning. For failed recordings, check existing storage free space and timer conflicts without initializing or formatting it. Under Network, distinguish Adapter settings and Use DHCP from satellite reception; a network fault is not proof of a tuner fault. Preserve channel lists, LNB settings and recordings; do not reset, flash software, open the case or rewire as a first test.

When to stop and get help

Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.
