Match DIGIT HD8-S with the March 2009-layout original manual, not HD8+ or cable HD8-C. Read Systemkonfiguration for the installed software and last SFIplus update, keeping MAC and other identifiers private. Identify the existing LNB input separately from TV/video connections without swapping powered cables. For missing recordings, read the selected medium under Aufnahmemedien verwalten and whether an automatic choice selected a different inserted device. The manual explicitly says Lesegeschwindigkeit prüfen measures reading, not writing; a positive result alone does not prove PVR suitability. Record storage choice, free space and the failed timer before changing anything. Do not start PVR-Tauglichkeit prüfen, format a medium, rescan, reset, flash or alter shared antenna settings as a first fix. Old DVR-App and remote-access references are not proof of current app or internet-service support.
