Applies to: SELFSAT SNIPE DOME Air · Original SNIPE DOME Air user manual V1.1; local SAT>IP Wi-Fi TV, not ordinary DOME
Work through these checks
01 · SELFSAT SNIPE DOME Air
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
02 · SAT>IP / Wi-Fi / SATELLITE / GPS / SATIPLINK2G / SATIPLINK5G
Match SNIPE DOME Air and original manual V1.1, not the ordinary DOME. Its SAT>IP Wi-Fi network carries local satellite TV; joining it does not provide internet access. Record Wi-Fi readiness separately from the selected SATELLITE light: flashing is search, steady is found; GPS is another indication. Compare existing SATIPLINK2G or SATIPLINK5G names, including any suffix, without changing the network. Playback needs a compatible SAT>IP client; an old app listing is not current compatibility proof. Record whether the legacy TV output works when mobile playback fails. Do not hold Wi-Fi to reset the router, flash, open the dome or swap powered cables as a first fix.
When to stop and get help
Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.
What to tell support
Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
