Work through these checks
01 · Rover HD TAB 700 / TAB 700 Plus
Match the exact hardware, tuner standard and manual. Keep LNB feed and TV/AV display connections distinct. Preserve saved channel plans and transponders.
02 · SAT EXPERT / SAT MEAS & PICT / PLAN / POL/BND / NsMAR / bBER/aBER
Match the HD TAB 700 / TAB 700 Plus user guide, not a later TAB model. The selected PLAN and transponder remain stored after changing TV/CATV mode or switching off; an old selection is not a new reception test. In SAT MEAS & PICT, record PLAN, modulation, DIS., POL/BND, FREQ, TRANSP, power and units, MER, NsMAR, bBER/aBER, TSID and ORB when shown. SAT EXPERT distinguishes the wanted satellite from the detected one; its east/west messages depend on dish diameter and can be absent with small dishes. Missing guidance is not proof of a failed LNB. Preserve the current plan and compare readings without moving the dish, changing feed settings or using hardware/software reset.
03 · RF
Read level, quality or error measurements together with lock and the selected transponder. Compare only unchanged units and settings at the same measuring point. Wrong satellite data or an unsupported standard can make a working feed look faulty.
When to stop and get help
Stop for damaged cables, unexpected voltage or short-circuit warnings; ask a qualified installer or meter service. Do not bypass protection, change LNB power, DiSEqC/SCR, motor settings, calibration or firmware, or reset to test.
What to tell support
Save model, manual edition, software, measuring point, satellite/transponder, units and the original screen or error. Keep site identifiers private.
