Work through these checks
01 · Radyne RCS11
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
02 · RCS11 / TM061 / Power 1 / Power 2 / MOD / DEMOD / A/B / ENABLE / SELECT AUTO
Match Radyne RCS11 to TM061 Revision 1.3 dated March 1998, not a later RCS11 datasheet or CRS-170A switch. Record Power 1 and Power 2 separately: the original has independent supplies and can continue from one, so preserve the working feed and report the missing one rather than unplugging both to test. Keep the separate MOD and DEMOD A/B online selections and modem-fault indicators distinct from a switch Fault. They identify selected paths, not end-to-end traffic quality. Read the installed Auto/Manual state without pressing ENABLE, SELECT AUTO or a manual transfer button. After a fault clears, the formerly failed path need not automatically become online again. The documented fail-safe can return selection to modem A during internal failure; do not simulate power loss or assume standby B still receives buffered signals. Leave transfer, supply servicing and cabling to coordinated operator maintenance. Protect site identifiers. The linked Radyne original is preserved in an existing public technical archive, not a current compatibility list or manufacturer-hosted copy.

What to tell support
Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
