PROMAX HD RANGER Eco · F4.2 · 2025-07 · firmware30.5 reference

Applies to: PROMAX HD RANGER Eco · F4.2 · 2025-07 · firmware30.5 reference

Work through these checks

  1. 01 · PROMAX HD RANGER Eco

Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.

  2. 02 · HD RANGER Eco / F4.2 / 30.5 / Settings / External power supply / LNB Drain / External / SHORTCIRCUIT / DiSEqC / SCD/EN50494 / SCD2/EN50607

HD RANGER Eco · F4.2 (July 2025), firmware 30.5 reference: first read Settings, External power supply and LNB Drain. When external-unit power is disabled, no output voltage is applied even if the interface appears similar. External mode uses an existing receiver or preamplifier supply; establish power ownership before connecting another feed. SHORTCIRCUIT produces a warning and repeated checks: stop, do not defeat protection or handle live connectors. Preserve DiSEqC, SCD/EN50494 and SCD2/EN50607 assignments; do not reset or change oscillator values as the first check.

When to stop and get help

Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.
