Work through these checks
01 · Megasat Digital 1 HD V2 · manual V3.0
Match the exact hardware, tuner standard and manual. Keep LNB feed and TV/AV display connections distinct. Preserve saved channel plans and transponders.
02 · RF / LNB
Match Digital 1 HD V2 and manual Version 3.0, August 2026. RF IN is the satellite input; AV/AV IN concerns external playback, not satellite lock. In TV mode F1 can switch the LCD off while the meter remains on, so check the current mode before diagnosing a dead screen. The four-digit display shows signal level; LOCK indicates a satellite found, while 13V/18V/22k describe feed/control. Record the selected satellite/transponder, strength, quality and software version. Check Auto Standby before blaming power. Export lists and measurements before changes: USB imports overwrite lists and Factory settings delete entered data. Do not reset, update firmware, change LNB voltage or move the dish as a test.
03 · RF
Read level, quality or error measurements together with lock and the selected transponder. Compare only unchanged units and settings at the same measuring point. Wrong satellite data or an unsupported standard can make a working feed look faulty.
When to stop and get help
Stop for damaged cables, unexpected voltage or short-circuit warnings; ask a qualified installer or meter service. Do not bypass protection, change LNB power, DiSEqC/SCR, motor settings, calibration or firmware, or reset to test.
What to tell support
Save model, manual edition, software, measuring point, satellite/transponder, units and the original screen or error. Keep site identifiers private.
