Work through these checks
01 · MASPRO LCT5 digital level checker
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
02 · LCT5 / BS-L / CS-L / C/N / BER / OK / NG / ALLch. / SELch. / 過電流 / 給電エラー / フォーマット
Identify the exact MASPRO LCT5 using the manufacturer's Japanese basic manual (24 pages; footer JAN., 2020, 2K57-333 SY(TK)・01-6333-4T) and separate detailed manual (53 pages; footer NOV., 2019, 2K57-787 TK・311-6787-4T). These are separate printed marks, not one merged revision or installed firmware date. Count one satellite-capable meter, not additional UHF/LTE modes, software or editions; do not extend to LCT6. Observe only already-connected, authorized existing displays. For right-hand BS/110°CS, level, C/N and BER are distinct; level is dBμV and C/N is dB. For left-hand BS-L / CS-L, this source measures level and simplified C/N only: no BER, reception-confirmation mark or OK/NG. Their absence is not failure or a zero error rate. Simplified C/N uses out-of-band noise and can differ from the right-hand measurement (basic12; detailed15,19). Right-hand OK/NG depends on C/N and BER; an unsupported modulation can show NG despite input, so neither level nor a symbol proves all reception, entitlement or TV picture. The manual excludes CATV, SKY PerfecTV! Premium, one-seg, analog and FM measurement (basic1,12). Existing ALLch. and SELch. distinguish all channels from only registered channels; preserve the list, selected band and channel rather than changing them to find a result. A level reading on a channel without a signal can represent noise, not a defective meter (21). Record the existing error text: 過電流 denotes overcurrent above 270mA during the documented 15V feed; 給電エラー can reflect insufficient battery reserve during feeding, not uniquely cable failure (20; detailed34). Stop and arrange qualified safe isolation before inspection; do not retry feed, change voltage, connect/disconnect live coax or work on batteries. Existing USB connection can disable local controls; do not create a new connection as a test (4). Preserve saved measurements and private location/site data. Do not delete, export/send, replace/reseat media, select フォーマット, activate measurements/feeds, scan/register channels, alter settings, calibrate, reset/restart/update or access the antenna/roof. Do not interrupt known card access or updates. Stop for damage, smoke or abnormal operation; if thunder starts, stop and do not touch the meter or cables. The historical OEM documentation guarantees no current availability, support, broadcast compatibility or service.
When to stop and get help
Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.
What to tell support
Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
