Work through these checks

  1. Furuno FELCOM16 mini-C · OME-56380-G1

Match FELCOM16, communication unit IC-216, antenna IC-116 and manual OME-56380-G1 (4 June 2015). All lamps can light during the automatic startup test of about 30 seconds; do not restart merely to repeat it. POWER is green when powered; steady green LOGIN indicates login, flashing LOGIN is different; TX green means transmitting and ERROR flashing red means equipment error. Record SYNC/UNSYNC, login, GPS status, date/position, BBER, C/N and Antenna Power Supply separately. Antenna Power Supply NG can indicate an open or short cable: qualified marine service must investigate. Preserve logs; no reset, rewiring, forced region/login change, PV or SSAS test as troubleshooting.

When to stop and get help

Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.

What to tell support

Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything. Furuno FELCOM16 · IC-216 / IC-116 · OME-56380-G1 · 2015-06-04
