Applies to: Dish TV SNT7070 · V1.1 dual reception receiver · OEM V1.1 July 2018; SNT7070 satellite and terrestrial, not an assumed SNT7070HbbTV revision
Work through these checks
01 · Dish TV SNT7070 · V1.1 dual reception receiver
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
02 · SATELLITE IN / ANTENNA IN / Satellite / Terrestrial / System Info / Manual Channel Scan
Match SNT7070 to V1.1, July 2018; do not assume the HbbTV revision is identical. SATELLITE IN and ANTENNA IN serve different reception paths: working UHF does not prove the dish path works. Record the existing Satellite or Terrestrial mode and read System Info without starting a scan. Manual Channel Scan on an existing terrestrial frequency can lose EPG bookings. Do not rescan, change LNB settings, reset, format USB storage or move live cables as an initial test. Freeview completed its satellite transition on 15 April 2025. Old satellite names and connected-service claims in these manuals are historical, not current tuning instructions. Check the linked current Freeview advice before any retuning; do not physically repoint a dish from an old menu name. Ask a qualified installer about dish or shared-cable faults.
