Deviser S30 Satellite Meter · Read a satellite meter without changing the installation

Deviser S30 Satellite Meter · Original S30 Satellite Meter manual Ver:1.1; publication date not established

Applies to: Deviser S30 Satellite Meter · Original S30 Satellite Meter manual Ver:1.1; publication date not established

Work through these checks

  1. 01 · Deviser S30 Satellite Meter

Match the exact hardware, tuner standard and manual. Keep LNB feed and TV/AV display connections distinct. Preserve saved channel plans and transponders.

  2. 02 · Ver:1.1 / System information / SPECT-FIND / SPECT-MEAS / POWER / MER / C/VBER / 22KHz / ROLL

Match the original S30 Satellite Meter manual Ver:1.1; do not substitute another S-series meter. Record software, hardware and boot versions from System information, keeping the serial number private. SPECT-FIND strength/quality percentages and SPECT-MEAS POWER, MER and C/VBER are different readings: preserve their labels and units. Before suspecting the feed, record the existing satellite, TYPE, F, SR, POL, 22KHz and ROLL parameters; do not edit them for comparison. The wrong stored transponder can invalidate a test. Do not send DISEqC commands, change LNB supply, overwrite the channel plan, reset or update firmware as a first check.

  3. 03 · RF

Read level, quality or error measurements together with lock and the selected transponder. Compare only unchanged units and settings at the same measuring point. Wrong satellite data or an unsupported standard can make a working feed look faulty.

When to stop and get help

Stop for damaged cables, unexpected voltage or short-circuit warnings; ask a qualified installer or meter service. Do not bypass protection, change LNB power, DiSEqC/SCR, motor settings, calibration or firmware, or reset to test.

What to tell support

Save model, manual edition, software, measuring point, satellite/transponder, units and the original screen or error. Keep site identifiers private.
