Start with the provider named on your contract and the terminal manufacturer. Record whether the terminal is registered, whether the modem reports an RF fault, and whether only one local device is affected. Satellite footprint maps are not proof of an active retail plan or permission to transmit. Leave uplink frequency, power, network commissioning and antenna alignment to the authorized operator or installer.

Before contacting support, record the exact model, hardware revision, displayed error and when the fault began. Keep passwords, subscriber numbers, terminal identifiers and precise location private. Share them only through the provider’s secure support channel.
